1. Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using NetInsightPro (the "Software") and the netinsightpro.com website (the "Service"), you enter a binding agreement with TechProf Ltd ("we", "us"). If you disagree, do not use the Service.
2. Licence grant
Subject to payment of applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and run the Software on the number of devices permitted by your plan. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, sublicense, or remove any proprietary notices from the Software.
3. Account + activation
- You are responsible for keeping your licence key and account credentials secret
- One activation = one device; exceeding your plan's device limit blocks further activations
- Team and Enterprise tenants may reassign seats between users via their tenant admin console; seat changes apply at the next subscription cycle
- We may suspend accounts that share keys across organisations, automate abuse, or violate these terms
4. Plans, trials & refunds
- Self-serve plans available: Free (£0), Pro (£12 / mo or £100 / yr), Team (£35 / seat / mo or £350 / seat / yr, 5–25 seats). Enterprise is quote-scoped — contact sales.
- Plans auto-renew until cancelled from Account → Billing
- 14-day free Pro trial for new accounts (Pro and Team); cancel before day 14 to avoid charges. Downgrading to Free at any time takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Prorated refunds within 14 days of first annual purchase (UK CCR / EU directive 2011/83). Team tier refunds are calculated on a per-seat basis.
5. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to use the Software to:
- Monitor networks you do not own or have authorised access to
- Extract, reverse-engineer, or circumvent licensing mechanisms
- Violate applicable laws (including data protection, wiretap, and export control)

6. Warranty disclaimer
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SOFTWARE DETECTS EVERY NETWORK THREAT, MALWARE, OR EXFILTRATION ATTEMPT. USE ALONGSIDE, NOT INSTEAD OF, YOUR OS FIREWALL + ANTIVIRUS.
7. Limitation of liability
Our total liability is capped at the greater of £100 or the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, loss of data, or loss of profits. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate for convenience. We may terminate immediately for breach. On termination: your licence ends, but data you exported stays yours.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes resolved exclusively in the courts of London, United Kingdom. Nothing restricts statutory consumer rights in your jurisdiction.
10. Changes
Material changes: 30-day notice via email + in-app banner. Continued use after the effective date = acceptance.
